Welcome to Del Mar Highlands, a neighborhood within the community of Carmel Valley. We are located within the north-western most area of the City of San Diego, just east of the city of Del Mar and unincorporated Rancho Santa Fe. Our boundaries are Del Mar Heights Road to the south and west of El Camino Real. Our community is comprised of 1175 homes, both single and multi-family. An elementary school and neighborhood park are in the middle of our neighborhood with convenient access.
The Del Mar Highlands Neighborhood Homeowners’ Association (DMHNHOA) is responsible for the common area landscape and maintenance along the slopes that front Del Mar Heights Road, El Camino Real, north and south slopes along Quarter Mile Drive, south side of Half Mile Drive, and the west side along Wyndhaven Drive. It also includes the grass parkways along High Bluff Drive, Long Run Drive, Wyndhaven Drive, Quarter Mile Drive and Half Mile Drive. We are also responsible for the grass park across from the neighborhood elementary school. Overlook Park gives views to the fairgrounds and the Pacific Ocean. It is owned/maintained by the City of San Diego.
